The Foundation has twelve cottages at Southwick in Hampshire, just outside former HMS DRYAD, which is now the Defence School of Policing and Guarding.

Each cottage has its own sitting room, kitchen and bathroom and either one or two bedrooms.

There is also a bedroom and cloakroom in the Centre Block that can be booked for guests, as well as a communal drawing room and a utility area with washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge freezers.

As the cottages are technically almshouses, no rent is charged, but residents pay a monthly sum towards heating and maintenance.

Southwick village is a delightful place to live. There is an excellent village shop, post office and restaurant as well as two public houses and a church.

Taxis are readily available for those wishing to go to nearby Wickham for the local doctor’s surgery or further afield to Fareham.

Residents must be in good health and able to live independently.

Any ladies requiring further details or wishing to view the cottages should write to :-
